How to Change the Facebook Page Name for Your Las Vegas Business

Brands may often decide to change their name as part of their rebranding, among the many possible reasons. Thus, changing the name of their Facebook page is also necessary. There are two ways to change your Facebook page – from a desktop or mobile. Both methods will be discussed further.

Before starting with the steps to change the Facebook name of your Las Vegas business, one must remember that the said process is not just as simple and similar to renaming a Facebook group. The former act in a more professional approach and is often used for business purposes. It is also usually operated by a single administrator. Meanwhile, the latter is more of a collection of people who gather and exchange ideas on a common topic. It can be run by several administrators who help each other to run and manage the Facebook group.

Go to your page. On the left-hand side menu, click on “About”.
Edit the “Name” attribute

Locate and click the “About” section on your page.
Click “Edit Page Info”
Complete “Update Page Info”
Click the "Name" field

For Android Users

Tap the “Edit Page” option.
Click “Settings”
Tap the “Page Info” button
Click "Edit Name"
Click “Save”

Step 1
Go to your page. On the left-hand side menu, click on “About”.

Edit the “Name” attribute

Some main attributes of your Facebook page will then be displayed under “General.” Located beside the “Name” attribute is the option to edit. Click on the said option.

A new window with the heading “Request New Page Name” will pop-up on your screen. This is Facebook giving reminding you of the things you should and should not place on your Facebook name.

Two of the most important things to remember is not to use the words “official” or “Facebook” on the name you picked as a replacement. It should also not be misleading or inappropriate for it to be approved. The Facebook page name should not exceed the limitation of 75 characters. Once you have completed changing your Facebook title, click “Continue.”

For iPhone Users

Step 1
Locate and click the “About” section on your page.

You can do this by swiping to the left on the main menu, at the top part of the screen.
Step 2
Click “Edit Page Info”

Click on the last option that appears on the page, which is the choice that says “Edit Page Info.”

Complete “Update Page Info”

A screen that says to “Update Page Info” will appear next. In this section, the same attributes in the desktop version can be seen. You can tap on any of the fields to edit them.

Click "Edit Name"

Replace the existing name you have on your page by clicking on the “Edit Name” cell.

Scroll to the bottom part of the page you are currently at and click “Save.” This action finally updates the name of your page.
